Sorry to dredge up an old post, but I am about to install the ground effects kit and I have a set of Hellas that I got from Hank. They look exactly like the Mike's pic.

I'm concerned about mountin ...

Oh yeah, you do. There is a massive reinforcement piece that goes all the way down the center hump under the console and across the back between the rear shocks. It just isn't enough, though. They ...

I was frolicking in a salvage yard this weekend and came across an 83 Mustang with a hood light. My 86 doesn't have one--I think it may have been removed. So, I snagged the light off the Mustang.

While researching the stiffening kit, I saw that there was an "X" brace that I think came out starting in 1987. It consists of two "V" shaped rods that connect to the front reinfo ...

Someone needs to buy this car before I do! I just don't need another project, but this one is perfect to customize because it needs about everything redone. I am not a fan of the tan interiors, so i ...

I did a lot of grinding on the parts to clean them up--I was going to just rust treat them and paint them, but I thought that since I'm restoring the car, I might as well do it right, so I dropped the ...

I went to a Mustang/Camaro salvage yard near Richmond this weekend--During a monsoon, no less! I asked the owner about the 'kit' and tried to describe it as best as I could, but, having never seen on ...

Interesting--I read that it was the convertible rocker panel that had to be welded in to place. It would require modifying the floor pan and seat panel as well. Then, of course, it would require new ...

My 86 has that cover or bracing that goes across the rear hump. I thought the 85/86 Musatang convertibles had the convertible rocker panels, but the Capri wouldn't have had it. I was thinking that ...

I think I was a little unclear--pictures are always better.

This is how the door sill is not finished in my car. I did replace the carpet with the rubber backed style and the carpet didn't reach u ...

IN my roadster, there is no trim past the stock door sill trim, so I have about a 4 inch unfinished spot where the carpet comes up and over the frame. It looks pretty bad, so I would like to cover it ...

I read somewhere that the 87 and up roadsters had the convertible inner rocker panels shipped with them from the factory and then ASC installed them during the conversion.

That might explain why my ...
