Most of those were added later. This is in the rub strip area? Pretty sure asc never did a stripe in there. There have been some verts with the "ascMclaren" sunset stripe like the coupes ...

Interior paint is a pain.

Best is to find a shop who can mix spray cans of paint from the back of a plastic part.

Then you really need to repaint most things with it, as it might be really close ...

It's definitely the inspiration but the Mercedes top was never meant to fit the asc.

However, anything is doable with enough duck tape and a saw... Smile

Dang it. Maybe it was the other way. I have to go look it up. I do remember having the body guy put new handles on the car now because I knew they were prone to breaking.

What you want is the 79-82 Mustang underhood insulation. If you can find it. Maybe they reproduce it now.
