hi my name is jim and im new here .
just bought a 1988 ASC white with blue interior and blue top.
im replacing the windshield ,and im in the process or taking the large exterior trim off. ill be using a heat gun as I have read this is the best way to go about it.
the other thing that im curious about is if i can get the header garnish moulding new or is this a ford part that i will have to try and find at a wrecker or used parts yard. mine is broken really bad .cheers and thanks for all your tips....jim
Chris, thanks that was fast.
I just looked and the price is 125.00 am I looking at a old web page? the part is black and looks like the one I need.
Looks like all i need to do is paint it blue.
by the way I used a heat gun on the window trim and there is no way in hell its coming off nicely. I think someone put it on with some pl30 glue or something nasty. this looks like im going to wreck it to get it off. jim

If the window trim gets wrecked while taking it off, the replacement piece from Hank will set you back $328 ... that's the part Capri50asc was referring to. It's in the exterior parts section of the website.
