They are very dark...however seem to have been lightened since this morning...
But they are just crappy pics...no detail can be seen at all...there are only 2 of the outside of the one...one of the other...The interior shots are horrible...
$2,500.00 is the opening bid but the reserve isn't even met??? I wouldn't even bid on them because of the pictures...

He's also on FEP. He posted about these cars a couple weeks ago, but would never firm up on a price. _________________ "They gon' talk about you anyway, just let it roll off." |

Not to be a SNOT, but the question is (and, was), what are they worth to you to let them go to "good" homes. Here and at FEP you're amongst "like" minds. Over at THAT AUCTION SITE, you might your money but, you never know what will happen to "your babies".
We,(well,I)was trying to get a more detailed description of the cars and what was needed to make them whole, again. Was'nt doggin' you or trying to cut you down. I apologize if it came across that way. Just wanted to see what you had.
Anyway, good luck on your auctions..... hope you make a killin'

We would LOVE to give you a ball park figure.....its just that we can't. We need better pictures....and a better description.
We need full shots of the entire car, all 4 sides. Pictures need to be 640x480 to give good detail. Shoot 3 shots of the engine bay. Left, right and center.
Get it out of between the buildings. You will get more light and be able to take better picture angles. It "looks" like you are hiding something major.
From the auction, I have a number in my head of around 2.5k for the Eurocoupe. The interior looks unmolested and the exterior from what I can see looks allright. With better pictures, if things started to look up, maybe $3.5k-4k? $4.5k if you found the right buyer?
Honestly, these pictures you have are horrible. Try and get them out in the sun or at least away from the buildings. Those two buildings are blocking ALOT of the sun.

I'm not mad but Iried 3 or four sites but I can't find anywhere what its worth.I bought the ASC 4 months ago put money into it and then on the Four Eyed site I bought SpeedRacers Car, why no one else jumped on that
McLaren I have no clue. But I know the regular Capri in the auction its worth about 2K with all the extra stuff.I own 4 Capris (2 ASC cars)among
8 other Mercs and Fords I have.I don't need to make a killing I wanted to sell it here or the Four Eyed site to a CAPRI freak like myself. If it doesn't sell I will try to keep them or at least the McLaren.
1 guy wanted to give me 3K for the Mclaren but he said he would put a Mustang nose on it.Told him to get off of my property.
If someone here wants to give me something reasonable I will take it off
of Ebay. |

That's the problem. Condition is everything. Nobody can tell what you want to know since we can't see the car well enough.
The car right now could be from $2.5k-4.5k depending on pictures. Thats a big swing in value. We just can't simply open up a price guide and based on your small description, rattle off a price.
Here are some questions to help us out:
1. What Engine modifications?
2. Is the rear end stock or has it been changed?
3. Has it been repainted?
4. Any accidents?
5. Does the AC work?
6. Does it overheat?
7. How much wear on the tires?
8. Is the glass good all the way around?
9. Mileage?
10. Seats broken? The driver's side appears to be but you didn't mention it.
Try and list everything that needs attention. List everything that is broken.
BTW, the Eurocoupes got the stock Ford radio (or whatever the dealer tossed in)...the Alpine was not part of the package.
We will help. Help us to help you.

it has a 3:73 gear
AC works needs charging (slow leak)
New radiator
needs:
small tear in driver seat
dash pad
Brakes
heater core
clutch re adjusted
tires
I think the paint could be re wet sanded (repainted)
new air dam put on
I put on alt,ign switch,batt,starter relay,starter,terminal wires,plugs,key
tumbler
I would pull the motor and go through it. |

Based on the last bit, I think the car is definitely a project car and probably worth around 2.5k? I don't know if the Eurocoupes are getting a whole lot more than the FP versions. If it was running well and the inside tidied up and the outside buffed out with the new air dam, then maybe $3k?
For comparison, Frank Ross got a pretty straight and unmolested 85 FP asc coupe for $3k. It appears to be in nicer shape....it cleaned up well and from what he said ran well....but it didn't come with the original wheels that you have.
For comparison, from what I have seen:
Project cars range from $500-3500. Very nice coupes are around 4-6k. Excellent cars are around 8-10k. Sandy's car is 20k+
Another thing is that you say the "Euro is fairly rust free". What rust does it have? Where is it?
A little more info would still help:
1. What Engine modifications?
Does it have the original intake, exahust?
Is it the original engine or a replacement?
4. Any accidents?
9. Mileage?
This is a biggie to really determine wear and tear.

One last thing, when you say "I would pull the motor and go through it", do you mean that it is knocking or making unusual noise? Leaking? Burning oil?

SOLD!!
Naw....not really. I couldn't bear to part with it. Though $20,000 would buy ample professional counseling.......for the mental breakdown _________________ Sandy passed away in 2012. He will be forever missed.
