Naw....not really. I couldn't bear to part with it. Though $20,000 would buy ample professional counseling.......for the mental breakdown |

I don't know but maybe I would side a bit closer to the $3k mark? Especially since you're in the NE and rust free cars aren't readily available up there. It is the rarer version of the Coupes and I don't see major damage anywhere. Its got a new air dam and all the wheels and steering wheel and so forth...
It would be nice if somebody else would toss their $.02 as I am no real expert on value. But I think I would hold out for $3k. What's sad is a car that is 1 of 47 should be like $5k-8k....in that condition...but we're not talking Mustangs here are we?.
The interesting thing is that you have that CRAZY style of door panels. V8Only was selling a set of from an 85 Capri. The top area of those door panels look to be the faux leather style vs the perforated style more commonly seen. It must have been a Capri only style of door panels.

on the drivers door it looked like it had a pocket at one time.
its only sin is it needs mechanical attention, but nothing major.
if it doesn't sell I might try and store it away for a while or I always
consider other Merc Muscle cars. |

OK, you're in the "North". I had northeast stuck in my head for some reason.

I have EuroCoupe #13, VIN #618892 (just 2 off of yours) and until I bought it, mine too was a Chicago car.
I would say mine is in similar condition as yours and this summer I decided to put it up for sale, I wanted to get at least $3,500 for it and I had a few interested parties but in the end no buyers.
It's difficult being a Capri owner in a Mustang world or even a Mercury fan these days but I decided that I was not going to give it away.
BTW, I am a little jealous of your Cyclone collection, I would love to have a '71 Cyclone in my garage someday.
Any possibility of posting a few pictures of them?

Post away! I could care less as long as things don't get crazy out of hand.
