I went to the most beautiful car show I have ever seen, today. It's the East Coast G.T.O. Regional G.T.O. / Firebird annual Concours.
It is being held at the Parsippany (name of town) Hilton Hotel and Conferance Center and park.
Rolling hills of emerald green grass, man-made lakes, Geese and Swans floating, cars parked around and under weeping willow trees upon acres & acres of lush grass. About 150 cars, some extremely rare, such as 2 of 17 "Judge" Convertibles, a huge display of 2004 to 2007 GTOs in a living color chart display, Firebird Trans Am 'Verts and all of the Limited Editions, likewise all the Limited Edition G.T.O.s including some Cam Am Editions. An Austraian Edition 2005 G.T.O. called the Mondero GP and gosh, so much, it's hard to recall. 1962 to 1970s Rock 'n Roll music, and white gloved waiters pushing silver carts with sterling silver serving tray of food & drink and a huge tent, under with they were judging cars.
There were fountains with geiser-like shoots coming from them, and Oh, so much more.
Sadly, it was 87 degrees & 67% humidity and it was boarding on unbearable weather conditions. Sweat soon encased us 3 and our Tees & tops looked like we fell IN the fountains. The sun, heat & humidity were approaching the unbearable levels.
We bought 3 plastic bottles of Deer Park water, each a pint. $3.00 each, from the white gloved gentleman wearing black pants, a white shirt with black bow tie and a white long sleeve Mattre' 'd coat. $9.63 for the 3.
But, the show was free.
Still going on until 5PM.

It's the Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Ct., Mass., New Jersey & New York GTO Association, better known as the East Coast G.T.O. Regional Annual Concours.

You know it. We stayed exactly 1 hour, got back in the Jeep, put on my good friends, "Hy" and "Max" and cuddled up to the A/C vents !
How hot was that leather in there?? Don't ask! I felt like a cattle getting branded. NEVER wear shorts when you are going to leave your ride in the sun on a 90+ day ! ! !
