Down three games to one, came back and took the championship. God bless Fenway and Josh Beckett. Should be a great world series. _________________ Mike

I love MLB, but any time one of the two biggest out-of-control spenders is involved (whether it be the World Series or a Spring Training game), I lose all interest. _________________ Robert

When the Dodges left the Bronx and moved to L.A. I lost total interest in sports and got interested in cars. Nothing has changed, therein.
I am happy you are happy for your team I do watch the Super bowl, but only for 3 reasons!
1. To see the unique car commercials, especially Cadillac.
2. To see the 1/2 time show.
3. 'Cause there is absolutely nothing ELSE to do, nor anyone else to do it with, that Sunday. _________________ Sandy passed away in 2012. He will be forever missed.

Nothing like the State of Ohio and sports to teach one humility. While I cheer for every team/sport in Ohio, they are sure to make one humble in the final minutes. OSU will be next to put us buckeyes' in the dumps this year... |

Tell me about it. I don't get into Pro sports much, much more into college sports. Alot less about money. More passion in it.
OSU has been incredible under Tressel, he's doing a great job except for one game that I don't think I'll ever get over...
OSU wasn't supposed to be undefeated this year, its actually partly a rebuilding year, so if there is a loss, its not unexpected. _________________ 1988 ASC McLaren #688 |

after i lived in ohio for 3 years i cheer for any team that is NOT ohio!!!
the one thig i hate most about ohio is OSU... more people fly a buckeyes flag then an american flag. that is just crazy! take the buckeye flags down and put up an american one or atleast fly an american flag with the buckeye flag! _________________ ~Peter

Yeah, I fully agree. Still a loss to Michigan this year will be such a sad state of affairs. OSU has won many championships, but the loses seem to out weigh the wins. At least OSU has won in recent years. The Browns, Bengals, Cavs, Indians and Red Sox don't seem to be able to put anything together...
I really do not care, but like to be able to have bragging rights... |

The Yankees were and still are the Bronx Bombers. The Dodgers were always in Brooklyn before they moved to L.A.
Prior to moving to San Francisco, the Giants played in Manhattan at the Polo Grounds. _________________ Robert
