I have heard from A LOT of other people they they couldn't find them, but I have ALWAYS found then at my local ford dealership for my two other capris. Did did my 85 coupe last year. The local dealership didn't have them in stock, but they ordered them from the FORD factory and always came in within a few days. Maybe lucky I guess. They have never come up at my local ford dealership as being obsolete. |

How much did you pay per side?
They had been going for $120 per side...and I even called a Ford dealer to see if I could get some cheap like 6 months ago. They were available 6months or so ago and they may still be some around but very few people were willing to pay the $250 for a set.

The last set I put on was about a year ago, but I believe they were anywhere from $55-75 a side. As soon as I obtained my 85 coupe 1 year and some odd months ago, I put new moldings on it. And they came in - in less than a week. Haven't tried in over a year, but a year ago, they were available. Didn't need the inner ones yet as my windows are tinted pretty dark and that protected the inner ones from sun deteriation. I can check tomorrow or Tuesday at my local dealership just to see the latest status and price. Will let you know.
