My name Chris Gogola I just joined up this past week. I just purchased a 1986 Mercury Capri 5.0SC ASC Convt, White with a blue interior. It was stored by Hines Park Lincoln Mercury in Plymouth Michigan. The car was never titled! The owner used it in Florida for the past 24 years. it only has 16,000 on it with a 5.0 liter engine. I also have a 1986 Mercury Capri 5.0 liter Red and gray. I.m a true car nut and have owned over 60 classic's in the past 30 years!

I saw that one and was tempted but wasn't sure the wife would still be here when I got back home. She doesn't drive any of the collector vehicles and will only drive my F150 in an emergency.

Thanks for the kind words guys! I have taken some days off and will be back at it on Monday. I looking forward to help anyone with car problems if you need it. I sell Loctite in Michigan and have learn a lot of tips! Here's one that solved a leak on my 86 Capri RS. The pan and rear main seal where replaced but it was still leaking at the bell housing. It was the six bolts that hold the flywheel on. The oil pressure from the oil pump pushed oil into the crank and caused it to leak and sling oil all over the clutch. Which in turn damaged the clutch. Use Loctite 243 blue on those bolts which will keep any oil from leaking into the bell housing. 243 is designed for oil with pressure around it. Again if anybody needs any help with the Mustangs or Capri's 79-86 or 71-73 Mustangs or Cougars just drop me an e-mail.

Hey Chris!

The new Loctite website stinks! There used to be a nice chart to help you chose the right product for each application, but if that chart is there now I sure cannot find it! Anyway, what is the Loctite I should use to hold a pressed in bearing?

Need any good outside sales guys in Tennessee? I'm available!

Happy New Year!
Bill
