Tornado hits Dundee MI , Cableas and Splash Moutain water park/hotel. No deaths from storm. Did hear about a guy lived thru it then had a heartattack and died.
Incase anybody was wondering I've see NO ASC's or 4eye's damaged.
The tornado started about 4 miles North of me and traveled 13.5 miles into and thru Dundee

I'm glad you are OK! in Dundee. I heard the tornado sirens at about 1;00am here in Canton Michigan. I went in the garage and gave my 86 'vert '86 Capri 5.0 and my Mercury Cougar final rights before I headed to the basement. I was a bit on the nervous side Saturday night and did not get much sleep
Safe in Canton Chris |

Glad to hear you are all ok Mark. I thought of you guys when I heard that some of the tornados hit the Dundee area.
The Millbury tornados down in Ohio were about 15 miles North of me. The H.S. that was destroyed, I used to drive past all the time on my way to work.
The stories I've heard so far on the 7 people who lost their lives are so sad. One was the valedictorian's father who was safe in his basement, but went up and outside to get his generator going and he was hit with flying debris. THe other was a girl driving home talking to her father on her cell phone, and she was getting directions from her dad on where to drive to go away from the tornado, she took a wrong turn and drove right into it coming home from being out with friends.
So sad and senseless.

Jason, I saw the same aerial photo of that yellow chevelle under the garage.
I went to bed earlier than normal Sat. night after I saw the reports that showed it was going to miss us by 15 miles...... _________________ 1988 ASC McLaren #688 |
