Capri Wheels

Does anyone know if there is a difference between the Capri wheels and mustang mesh wheels? Also did they make changes between the year models?

Yes. Somewhere they switched from outside loading center caps to inside loading center caps.

TYP-34F is cast on the wheels that are the early outside loading center caps.

I don't know if the switch was made between the switch from Capri to Mustang but I bet it was more of a running change in 87 or so.

most capris have the wheels that say ascmclaren on them. the mustang mesh wheels will say msw. another good way to tell is the center hub on the ascmclaren wheel will be flush with the face of the wheel. the msw wheel will stick out about 1/2" past the face of the wheel.
