Look again
He / She LIVES in Green, that must be the town's name !
"Alpine Green metallic" was a LISTED 1987 McLaren color. But, none were made. I was told by an ascMclaren worker the color was dropped prior to 1987 Car #1 being built.
(Now, wait & see, some guy from somewhere is gonna come out of the woodwork from anytown, USA with an Alpine Green McLaren !

Sandy is absolutely correct. The geographic Craigslist area is at the top of the listing when you open it. The seller's actually community (as input by the seller, if they do it) is what appears at the end of the listing title. _________________ 1986 ASC vert - #86-0001

Problem is.....I cannot find a "Green, Illinois."
The other ad in question was for a car in Worth, Illinois. I can no longer find it on CL Chicago.
Still confused...or maybe the ad poster in Worth was. _________________ http://www.flickr.com/photos/darkhorse40/

This one is in Green, Ohio; not Illinois. It's near Akron and Canton, Ohio. _________________ 1986 ASC vert - #86-0001

I can't believe they didn't make one of those. I'll bet that would've looked great with a tan interior and beige top! _________________ 1988 ASC McLaren #688 |

yes, but didn't ASC/Ford dealers sometimes just order one and pick out the colors themselves to have and sell?
if demand was based solely on orders, I have a hard time believing that white was THAT sought after or requested based on the production numbers. _________________ 1988 ASC McLaren #688 |
