I'll file this with a big fat "DUH" stickied to it.

Pretty much every one of those cars was a collectible on day #1.

I wonder where these Automotive writers get their ideas sometimes.

I cannot afford any on that list. IF I could, it would be a Corvette Convertible, with every option, Auitomatic Trans + optional axle ratio and all options. It would be in a color not too often seen, so no black, silver, red or yellow. It would be an automatic tranny car.

But, with 3 McLarens, 1 Jeep, a Lincoln and a Caddy and the son's new Lexus IS-250 AWD there is no more room in the driveway or garage.

The Capri Hatchback (1986) and the 1993 Caddy Fleetwood 60 Special and the 25th Anniversary ascmcLaren are spending the winter at" Car-Condo", 4 miles away. I was there, today, for a check. It is 60 degrees in there. The Town Car & Blue McLaren 'Vert are here in our garage, Wife's Jeep Cherokee LTD shares the driveway with "Lexie" I am working on roof-top parking......

Do you name your cars? I do. I am sick !
"Jeepers" / Blew-Mac / Hi-Ho Silver/ Aubergine / Grey-Mac /
and "Towniee"

I will be MIA 2-morrow, as I have to go get poisoned at the Hospital.
This new brand Chemo is almost more than I can stand, but, I am improving again, after a slow down. I don't wanna tell ya all the side effects, or you'll lose your last 10 lunches. Protest

First, and most importantly, take care, Sandy. I'll include you in my prayers.

Second, those cars are only "collectible" because they're out of reach of the common person from the get-go. The majority of people who own them will NEVER even approach the potential of those cars. So they become status symbols. Whats the point??????

So they become status symbols.

THAT IS the point !!

I did not go, for this weeks Chemo. I was sick. I now have a 2 week break, feeling well and normal. 2 weeks from yesterday, I will visit hell, once again.

Out of the past 3 years on Chemo, yesterday was THE first reverse reaction I had ever experienced. NORMAL reaction is when one is ill, sick, miserable (take ya pick) from the day AFTER infusion until about 4 to 5 following days.

A reverse reaction is that one is okay, fine & "happy" after the infusion and stays that way for aout 10 days and THEN gets really ill for the 11th, 12th, 13th days, and is TOO sick to go back for the next infusion.

This my 1st such incident with a reverse Chemo reaction.

Today, I am FINE ! Fabulous. Now, I have to wait until the 17th for the next one.
