Hows it going. I just purchased a 1988 ASC McLaren #1573. Runs and drives great. I had been looking for a mustang for a while now, one to mod. I could not find any local then this one popped up for a good price so I bought it. I know its wrong to mod these cars but I am just gonna do a few things, mostly just h/c/i and thats it.

welcome

Your 1988 is the 1,009-th 1988.

Here with the numbering:

1987 = 001 to 479

1988 = 480 to 1494

1989 = 001 to 249

1990 = 250 to 302

This is because the 187 & 1988 were considered SERIES I
and THE 1989 & 1990 were considered SERIES II

Hood cowl induction, wow that's a good one. No I'm keeping the exterior all stock no hood cowl induction here. Just something to give it a little more power. I'll be keeping all the stock parts as well. Maybe being a vert I'll get some subframe connectors and strut tower bar up front. I won't be doing anything crazy because I realize this is a rare car and stock is what retains value. Oh and prob a maf conversion but that's it.

Engine mods are always cool because the appearance of the vehicle is retained for the most part.

Unless yer gettin' radical in there..

Saw a white McLaren yesterday at a traffic light. Couldn't get where I could follow the car and ask about it. Looked nice from a glancing view.

Any of you in Hudson, Fl/Port Richey, Florida yesterday, 2-15-2011??
