Not too shabby...with center caps too!
FYI, I bought a set of painted over orange wheels and caps (no tires) for $350 shipped on ebay....
For $87.5 I thought they were a good deal...

Sounds like you got a really good deal Mike. I wish they would pull the tires off htese to save on shipping costs. The $150 shipping charges with the tires included jacks the overall price up. But then a set of center caps like these wheels have would cost more than the shiiping price!
I have wanted to get a set of these, but need to refinish the wheels I have before investing in a set to be placed in storage or used for show purposes only. I like the 16 inch MSW wheels on my McLaren now and they really do not look a whole lot different from the originals.
Someone should be able to get a great deal on this set of wheels! Just not me... |

Shipping for my wheels was $100...bidding went to $250.
You may find the final price with shipping is not going to go above $400...
People add everything up and bid accordingly...if the guy won't dismount the tires then the bidding will suffer and stay low.

$150 shiping is high, even with FedEx Ground. I shipped 16" wheels w/w tires from Seattle to NYC and it was under $100 using FExG. Of course, if one could get the set of wheels for under $200, is still is a bargin with the $150 shipping...
I wonder if they would allow local pickup. Their location is only 2-3 miles from my office. I might be able to work something out if someone on this list buys them.... |

Yes, they allow local pickup...it says so at the bottom of the auction.
But you have to pay 8.8% sales tax...sheesh that's just rediculous. Sales tax has gotten out of hand.

Some area's of Seattle are up to 9.4%. But since we don't have a state income tax it all kind of evens out. Of course we also have some of the highest cigarette and gas taxes in the nation and you can only buy the hard stuff in state run (and highly taxed) liquor stores. |

I actually like a higher sales tax and no state tax.....so that is better than places like NYS which nail you now for 8-9% sales tax along with an income tax.
NC is heading closer that way too...
