Has anybody put the tonneau cover solenoid on a different switch from the pull-down motor so that the solenoid isn't energized while the pull-down is running? This would give the motor more voltage to run. _________________ 1989 McLaren #150

Thanks, I was thinking of using another switch hidden under seat maybe to control solenoid, but I will look into using a timer also. _________________ 1989 McLaren #150

I did eventually replace the pull-down motor, and the top. But I left the timer circuit in place and it still works great, no other switches necessary. |

Can you provide a little more detail on the timer you used ? _________________ 1989 McLaren #150
