As soon as this car popped up in my daily ebay searches, I thought, "Well, there is the silver one." This should be interesting.

The blue one has still never had its reserve met, right?

Same seller as the Blue. Which I think has been a no sell.

Not to pick on the car but.

passenger side photos make it look like the quarter panel is a different shade.

And that tire shot. Somebody needs to learn how to balance tires(counter balanced) Just loose the weights and use stickies

It also has the Police Alternator ( I think that's what is called) with the external regulator. Was that Standard on ASC's?

Yeah the alternator is original and correct.

Why does it not have the GT rear bumper cover with the ASC filler panel? It has an LX cover with a bottom skirt.

What a sharp car. I dig the 25th anniversary plaque.

Pics of this car from 2009 after Sandy added the plaques.

I knew that, but It is not the one that comes standard in the Mustangs. They quit using the external regulators after 1985

The bidding shot up quickly. Based on where the lower-mileage blue car repeatedly ended, it is probably not going to go up much more . . . unless someone really loves silver cars and is will to pay a premium.

I think it was a change for 89-90:

I spoke to Matt Block about this car just before the current owner bought it. He told me that he and his mother were looking to get $15k for the silver car. Since this guy bought them both, he probably got a little better deal. After shipping cost etc., he should be getting close to breaking even with the current bidding. Will be interesting to see if this one actually sells.

What's wrong with the wheel weights? That's how Ford did them.

The wheel is counter balanced. The weights are 180 degrees from each other. Should never be 2 weights on one side of wheel unless they are right next to each other. A rookie mistake by a newbie balancing the tire.

Oh crap. I guess when I looked at it I scrolled just past the weight on the top and didn't see it. You're right of course.
