For Sale:

1986 asc/McLaren EuroCoupe #13 of 47 built
Vin #1MEBP79M5GF618892
Automatic transmission
Approximately 90,500 miles
Oxford White with Charcoal interior
Leather wrapped asc/Mclaren steering wheel & shifter knob
140 Speedometer
Whistler remote radar detector.

It is missing the front & rear taillight covers, the front airdam & the Hella lamps.
(currently it has an aftermarket airdam that is an RS look-a-like)

The car is in good condition and drives great with no squeaks or rattles,
the steering rack is worn but I have a new one in the box that will go with the car. The driver's seat belt will not retract and I have a NOS one that will also be included.

$3500.00

It currently has a set of Mustang GT "Turbine" wheels on it, I have the 4 original wheels dismounted and in storage boxes, they were on the car when I bought it but I removed them with the intention of having them refinished.

Also the driver side skirt is not on the car currently but I have it as well.

Pictures of the car are in my album. If there is a picture of something that you would like that isn't there, please let me know and I will get one taken.

Thanks,
Brent

What is it about Eurocoupes that don't sell? MERCRS has one for $2500 with a new air dam that he hasn't sold yet either.

I see regular Capri 5.0L cars go for that much and this is a step above and less than 50 were made?

Is everybody "holding out" for full packaged cars?

Brent, make sure you post this on FEP and elsewhere.

Mike,

I planned on posting it at FEP, just haven't yet.
I don't know that I will post it anywhere else though, I would rather it not fall into "bad" hands that only want to make a "Mustang" out of it if you know what I mean.
I would really rather have it get into the hands of someone who is interested in keeping it an asc/McLaren. But if I get desperate (I think I'm about there now Crying or Very sad ) and it doesn't get it sold soon, it will probably end up on Ebay.

Sorry, I really like the car and I hate to get rid of it, but the reality is that I just don't have the time needed to restore a car anymore and I am just doing it no good to have it sit in my garage while I wait for that time to come.

Since it has been so hot out lately, It got me thinking that I should also mention that the air conditioning in this car works better that any other one I own. Rolling Eyes
