Are there differences in the Model years of the asc McLaren Mustangs such that you can look at a car and tell which model year the car was produced? If so what are those differences from year to year? Even if there are not differences that are immediately apparent via a visual inspection, are there other ways of distinguishing between model years short of reading the owner's manual?

I did find a document in the Resources area of the website that describes differences in the sun visors for each model year. Do any of you know of any other differences from model year to model year? |

The Sun Visors changed almost every year. 1987 were plain, 1988 had
dual illuminated vanity mirrors, 1989 had a passenger only
illuminated vanity mirror and 1990s were curved and therefore had
just a passenger side non-illuminating mirror. This was the norm,
there were exceptions until quantities were used up.

I have a 1989 Royal Gold#95. My visors are curved, with no mirror. I thought it came from old age. I would rather have flat ones. _________________ 1989 Royal Gold Metallic #095 (225Hp)

87/88 had mesh rims & the ground effects were the same ones as the 84-86 Capri coupes & verts sported.
89/90 has "blade" style rims & all new side skirts/rear valance. _________________ Jason Ringuette
