I'll have to keep an eye on this one. I plan to start selling my cars this fall. My 86 Red Vert has all the options offered in 1986 as far as I can tell. And the mileage is lower.
I'm in the process of selling my 80 Corvette L82 right now. |

This is going to sound weird, but I love the '82-'85(auto) tailpipe with the dual outlet. It just looks cool to me.
This '84 is super clean. I can see the $7900 asking price.....I don't believe my cheap @$$ just said that. LoL

Studying the pics and comparing to my '85.
1) This '84 appears to have a single central dome light above the mirror set into the windshield header, while my '85 has an uncut indentation there and has twin lights in the bottom of the mirror.
2) He has the sun visors tucked up against the windshield (strange? I'll have to look at mine in daylight to see if that's worthwhile for headroom vs outward visiblity) and they sag towards the center of the car because it has no inner visor supports which my '85 has.
3) My '85 has factory dual exhaust (intro'd in '85?).
Probably more differences, but it's Friday eve...

Yeah, 85 (MANUALS and late AUTOS) had the "Y-Pipe" (1 year only) introduced where it went from 2 headers on the engine to a single pipe across the transmission back out to a dual exhaust.
84s were a single pipe.
