I'm trying, unsuccessfully, to find tan carpet for my ASC McLaren. Would 1986 Capri carpet work if I cut out the carpet where the tunnel is? How about tan 1986 mustang convertible carpet? Any thinking out of the box people out there? Thanks, for any and all suggestions. _________________ Randy Veach

Tan carpet from a Mustang or Capri would be correct. Use hatchback carpet. I believe others have posted good results using Trim Parts. Just do a search.[/quote] _________________ Kevin Gold card MCA Judge for Fox Body

For a Capri, use the hatchback carpet for sure because it came to ASC as a HB and of course, ASC never changed out the carpets during the conversion.
Several vendors, but I've been told ACC makes the best. I just bought a mass-back kit for my '66 FB from Dallas Mustang because they were running a Christmas sale, offer free shipping, and no sales tax. Came to about $60 less than anyone else offered for the same ACC unit.
This time of year, watch for specials. Not at NPD because they've never heard of the concept, but other vendors... |
