Alrighty...
1mebp79m1ff607872
It has a Memphis DSO code.
I doubt you'll have anything on it. We've had the car since late 1993. I am probably the 4th owner.
7/19/90 - Flrorida Rear End Accident . Case #12812687
11/21/92 - NY DMV Titled - Tim Shilday Owned It then. He bought it from some "kid" in Florida who's dad told him to get rid of it cause he ws going to kill himself. We later purchased it from Tim.
6/25/1995 - My accident.
I need to contact the Florida Police and check out this case #. That may finish it.

A new Cobra Coupe would certainly be worth every penny to me...cause I'd drive the wheels off the car...just like I do my Capri...
It's the way these cars should be driven...to me storing a car is worthless...(sorry Sandy...lol) but hey whatever floats your boat...
Actually, I guess it really doesn't matter what we do with our cars...if we enjoy them then who cares right?

Actually, if, for some reason Sandy gave me his car...here's my to do list...lol
First off...I'd pull away leaving those 18 year old BFG's on the pavement...
...otherwise I'd:
-Lose the tailpipe extensions,
-Lose the sticker on the back window
-Lose the 5.0SC badges,
-Tint the windows,
-Tune it up,
-Bring the distributor cover back to black,
-Add a K&N,
-Bump the timing,
-Add some Flowmasters,
-5-speed swap...
Of course it'd be my daily driver...ahhhh we can all dream... _________________ Mike

I just vomited.
In other words, do I understand correctly....you don't like the car >> ?!!
9 Autos made, and you want there to be >>> 8
The exhausts extensions look very good, and keep the tape stripe from curling from hot tips. The 5.0SC if you don't like them, can be removed in5 minutes with dental floss tripled over and a rag with adhevesive remover on it, ( or even just a drop or two of gas) .... What else, lets see..... _________________ Sandy passed away in 2012. He will be forever missed.

But....that's part of the "ascMcLaren problem" ~ ~ They've ALL been modified to their particular owner's desires, and NOBODY really knows HOW they are really supposed to be for OEM. My mods, cosmetic, can all be removed in 15 minutes, and are far from permanent. The yellow sticker in the back window was from the wife, so I have to keep it.

lol I didn't mean to upset you Sandy...haha...but to me it's not about keeping it original down to the plastic seat covers...I'd have to drive it...
I've sliced my legs on my pipes and they don't stick out as far that's why I remove the extensions...as far as the 5.0SC badges...that would be just something else I'd have to explain to stupid onlookers...lol... _________________ Mike

I hear ya...like I said, it's personal preference...all the mods on my car can be returned too...I have the stock stuff in the attic...
In fact I'm thinking about refinishing the original wheels and putting them back on... _________________ Mike

I would remove all of those NASTY modifications and replace the original chrome door panel bezels just like it came from the factory with.
Sandy, the original ricer...putting stickers all over his car to make it look cool.
God I hope my car ever gets half way to lookng that good.

The absolute Worst McLaren in the world. Only look if you have a strong stomach!!
http://classifieds.stangnet.com/showproduct.php?product=6701&sort=1&cat=all&page=1
I have "Special Interest" car insurance thru Grundy in Horsham, Pa. A terrific company!!!
http://www.grundy.com
They recognize our cars!!!! Unlimited Miles Per Year!! (Not that Sandy needs THAT ) ~ You must have another daily driver IN YOUR NAME, submit like 10 pictures of it and the coverage is very very good. I have a mil over 1/2 a mil, coverage against UNinsured motorists, fire, theft, vandalism, the works! The deductable is $700.00 BUT, remember, I have 4 cars with them. Only the daily driver & our son's car are on a regular policy.
It's raining so hard here, I cannot sleep. We have allready had 5 iches since 12 noon, and it's actually raining harder now, sideways, hitting all the windows. Waht a racket. It's Jeanne - up from Florida, and passing over NJ Police Sirens ever 3 minutes outside, trees are falling, power lines coming down...... _________________ Sandy passed away in 2012.
