I replaced the windshield molding on my 86 roadster and I can't figure out how the new weatherstrip is supposed to attach. First, I did save my old weatherstripping--I just KNEW I would need it for reference.

However, I only could save the corners and windshield pillar sections with about 6 inches of the top part that goes across the top of the windshield. My problem was that I took it off 6 months ago and I can't remember exactly how it was installed. I can put the old stuff on and get an idea, but the new stuff just... doesn't fit. It is like the center part (along the top) is too long?

I also can't figure out how it wraps around the corners and where it is supposed to be glued on. I recall the old stuff was glued to the front of the molding leaving somethig like a bead sticking up between the top and the molding to make a seal.

Could someone shoot a pic of how it is installed on their car?

I would really appreciate it!!
