|
|
I have a really nice Capri red front bumper cover for sale, it doesn't have any cracks or repairs and has had a nice coating of paint on it, so it appears to be protected. It came off of a McLaren.
However, being 30+ years old, I'm sure it is brittle and probably has underlying spider cracks--just trying to be honest.
I'm looking for a best reasonable offer on it, I think I paid $400 for it two years ago. I spent MONTHS looking for one--the Capri bumper covers are VERY hard to find!
I can ship it anywhere in the US for (probably) $100. It is very bulky.
I would be willing to trade for ASC ground effects parts, too, so no money has to change hands..
Email me for details--danberger@mindspring.com

I'll get a pic soon. It came off of an 85 or 86 ASC roadster, so it should be the correct factory delivered cover? _________________ Dan

Let's see if I can get some pics loaded. the car didn't have the ground effects, so it hasn't been cut.
I would like to keep the plastic support for future reference, it would also help in keeping the weight down for shipping. I have left it on just to protect the cover.
Some details:
The front of the bumper cover, I guess the 'bumper' part --that is normally painted black, does have some waves in it. I tried to point that out in the shot looking across the bumper using the sun to highlight it.
there is a small split about in the center of that part, circled in black.
On the top of one of the headlight parts, there is a big white scrape, circled in black.
there are some chips in the paint, some scratches. The cover will definitely need some time to finish it, but there are no major issues. _________________ Dan
