New paint, new spoiler, new top. Just entered it in the second car show!

They gave out participation trophies and I was the only fox body there..

I got the whole car repainted--it had portions repainted until my b!tch neighbor sideswiped it. Left a big maroon gash down the side.

edit: I had the entire car painted, but the bodyshop didn't paint the mirrors!!?? Kills me.

While I was at it, I added the trunk spoiler..

Also, the glue that holds the velcro on the bows for the new top failed, so my brother and I spent a few hours regluing the bows and trying to get the top on tight. This was in the dark.. so, I need to take it back to the shop to get it set up correctly.

Also, the 67 Mustang in the pics is the one my (twin) brother and I restored in high school. He has kept it all this time!

HI...... That really looks GOOD! I wish you best of luck with it ! Now you all set for next summer. It's got to be dryer than this year.

Thanks!

Part of the body work was to fix the rust on the rear fenders from the ASC conversion. Other than that, the car didn't have any runst underneath. It was Ziebarted, so the frame and underside are perfect.

There is a little surface rust on the bottom of the driver door and on the bottom of the trunk lid--the body shop forgot to hit those areas, so I'll have to handle it.

Since the whole car was prepped, I considered paintiing it the same color as my brother's Mustang, 2006 Windveil blue. It would have been very close to U-Man's car but with a grey interior. That would have looked awesome!

BUT... just couldn't do it. There aren't many silver McLarens, so I went with stock. I'm glad I did.
