Hello all.. been a while since I've posted. I still have my 1989 Royal Gold Convertible (#95). I don't drive it because I'm always riding my motorcycle in the summer. I was contemplating selling it because I don't drive it, but I'm going to hold on to it. I changed my springs today...added Eibach springs. The front springs had this number on them (e5sc-5310-ka 74.5/7275) either MOF or FOM. They seem the same size as the new springs. Are they lowering springs from the factory?
Here's a picture of the old and new spring.. http://s86.photobucket.com/user/kwdan68/media/20190601_142654_zpsgnapxwus.jpg.html?filters[user]=145696814&filters[recent]=1&sort=1&o=1
I've looked up the number and they seem to be Ford B springs. That might explain why they are the same size as Eibachs. _________________ 1989 Royal Gold Metallic #095 (225Hp)

I think I upgraded for no reason... I searched the part numberser(5sc-5310-ka) for the springs and some sites say they are the Ford "B" springs. I probably only needed new struts (left front leaking). Just ordered some Bilstein hd for the front. _________________ 1989 Royal Gold Metallic #095 (225Hp)

Hope to see you and the Goldie this year. Always thought it was a sharp color on your car. Looks like the OE spring was cut also. FYI I cut motorsport frt springs to get the height I wanted on my 86 Capri |

I just finished driving it today (3 miles) to a collision shop. I could actually feel a difference since the spring install. I'm trying to get some rust fixed and a strut tower brace painted the color of the car. Gentleman said he doesn't do rust repair because it "Will" come back. Also I'm looking for a shop to do an alternator, fog light and IRS install. Can you recommend anywhere in Michigan that does that type of work? I have some Maximum Motorsports caster/camber plates coming also. Ordered Thursday, so should be here soon. _________________ 1989 Royal Gold Metallic #095 (225Hp)
