Just saw this one on Ebay item http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4502831035&category=63696&sspagename=WDVW He is asking $4500 buy it now, except there is one catch, the car is in Greece. You have to pay $800 to ship it back to the U.S. I emailed him, and he tells me he is the original owner and the car has 12,000 miles, and he shipped it to Greece 2 months ago. But I remember this car from Henry Huisman's website at http://www.ascmclaren.com He posted it there on 05/07/04 asking $13,750 and states the car has 24,500 miles. He said in the email that the money would need to go into escrow till the deal is complete. I just dont know about buying a car in another country, this auction just doesnt smell right. |

I agree. I was wondering who would post about it. Have you looked at his other vehicles? They all seem too low in price, short auction and you have to be an authorized bidder.
He does have good feedback (for selling books as far as I can look up).

Auction was pulled. Hank hit the nail on the head without maybe realizing it. If past feedback is for something completely different from what looks like a fishy auction, the account was probably hijacked by a scam artist. Even on eBay, Too good to be true usually is. _________________ Tom S.

'Ya, this went around before. It's a fraudulent auction, by a scam artist. The car is still in New York State. _________________ Sandy passed away in 2012. He will be forever missed.
