There looks to be a hint of orange left on the wheels so if it is an original '86 Raven Black w/Popsicle Orange accents then it would be the only one that was built that in that color combo that year.

She's a 1986 and looks perfect! I can find zero fault with as much as I can see.

If anyone here makes contact, you can give 'em my e-mail and I'd like to know the VIN, so then I can see if it's the 1 of 1 and what color the rims were originally......

the story from me is...... i saw this car 3 weeks ago on a trip for work.... i travel all over the southeast u s of a covering 8 states.... anyways i saw this car 3 weeks ago and didn't have a camera.... this past week on my way back from north carolina i passed it again and had my camera..... i could not make out any numbers on the for sale sign as the car is in an 8ft chain link fence with 3 rows of barbed wire at the top..... it is located off of hwy 85 in Waycross GA.... there is an old florest next to it and i called the number and aparently it is a really old florest cause the number was no longer in service..... i am booked locally for the next 2 weeks and have to fly up to VA the 3rd week of october..... if i get a chance i'll try to slide over there on one of my weekends off and see what kind of info i can get about the car..... the only thing being that it is 2 hours away from me and fuel ain't so cheap nowdays... but i'll see if i can make the trip as soon as possable.... if anyone is local e-mail me benlong@alltel.net i'll give more detailed instructions on how to get there...... also here are the same pics i got posted on turboford just so you can see them again.... any way i'll let ya'll know if i get any info on it.... Ya know...I like that car. Think I'd buy it. But then again.....no room and storage is getting up there at $325 @ month, and insurance is high.....just can't buy 'em all. I likr this one as IF IF IF the pictures are NOT hiding bad paint or other defects, she needs headlight covers & 4 wheels (Popsicle Orange), and it's good to go. {Maybe} Who knows what lurks below..... Sandy, remember this car is from GA...there is a GOOD chance nothing "lurks below".

I would LOVE to buy this car but I am seriously only allowed this one toy I have now....until I build a 3 stall car garage

Yes, Mucho ! I wonder if it's an automatic or a stick? Power Locks? Speed Control ? (I'd prefer the ascMcLaren wheel to the cruise).

I'm looking for a new toy as a way to introduce the wife "McLaren-dom". PLEASE get as much info as you can on this car, especially contact info. I'm VERY interested. I'd be her hero if I got her, her very own McLaren. And possibly a "one of one"? It don't get no better.

this is for my information but what is a car like this worth..... i know nothing about asc's i'm mainly into turbofords and diesels..... i'd like to know something so i won't sound dumb whenever i go talk to the owners whenever i get a chance....

I am going to take a pass on this & let my fellow ascMcLaren lovers toss out some numbers.
Basically 4 things come into play.

1) Originality
2) Mileage
3) Condition
4) What's either missing or damaged.

Brand New it was very close to $ 15,000

ascMcLaren SPECIFIC parts can get costly, real fast.
These would include front air dam, side ground effects and
rear under bumper air valance. I seem to recall that
it's missing its headlamp covers (I think) & that means
more than likely its taillamp covers too. I see it does
have its specific application rear spoiler, so that's good.

Anyone else wanna add thoughts...
