First of all Sandy and others I have had the dreaded internal peek at the insides also. As you age the diverticulitis bug hits us all. I had an issue with the "tentacles" fusing with the colon and crating a total blockage only discovered after the "cutter" could not remove it through laproscopic attempts. Now I have the scar forever. Had every test known to mankind as they searched externally for the cause. Learned to love morphine and caugt up on all the missing sleep in my lifetime.
I love the fall and the colors. Winding roads and a throaty exhaust on a cool clear day. Got the top up and all brushed out. Wife says it is time for me to put it in storage. I am getting tired of the moisture on my regular car's windows in the morning I guess but it seems like a poor trade.
I will miss those times when I go in the garage and turn the lights on just to look at it. I have a toothbrush there and if I see wax or crud I take it out. Dust bust it just for fun.
I understand the storage but it is like putting a relative into a home or exile and doesn't feel right.
Means winter is coming and the long dark.
