I got home at 9 PM last night. Pain? I have more pain than I ever thought any human could endure. Had stomach muscles cut. I have no ability to sleep laying down, as I cannot get up to go to bathroom. I sleep in the den on the sofa that reclines. I have strength in legs & feet to push footrest in and that brings the back up and arond & I gen get up. I walk bent over, like "Father-Time" and cannot straighten up. My tummy has 4 cuts in it (Surgery). They took out 10 inches of bowel (Colon).
The tumor was the size of a quarter in circumfrence.
Dr. says I will need 4 to 6 sessions of Chemo, and I will be 100% cured.
(Early statge - I assume) ..... But right now, 1 thing at a time and now it's relearn to be able to control my bowels, and deal with the pain, that should dissapate over the next 3 weeks. (slowly). You cannot believe the # of people in the hospital - One of - it not the largest in Jersey and 99% of the rooms are full, 5 miutes after 1 patient leaves anothjer is there to take their room. _________________ Sandy passed away in 2012. I am back.
I now wear diapers. Can I tell you how humiliating this is? They have frill on the sides! I would dress in pink polka-dots if it made me feel 10% better. The only food I eat is applesauce and water & a littel piece of pure chocolate candy. I have a long long way to go.
My good wife taking good care of me - but she is getting worn out.
Back to sleep, now. _________________ Sandy passed away in 2012. He will be forever missed.

I hear you on the diapers! My wife pees herself every now and again because of the MS, and so sometimes wears what she so delicately calls her "piss pad." Got to love a woman that can laugh when she pees herself!
Anyway, a few weeks ago she went in so they could see what they could do to help her with this issue. The test they ran... ever see a woman on a lift? I swear, they put her in a special "chair" that had a hole in it, shoved a bunch of tubes in her "goodies," and raised the chair up. Then they told her, "when you feel like you have to pee, just go ahead." There were 3 or 4 people in the room, and she has to pee while 4 or 5 feet off the ground! In a bucket no less!! Wow!
Anyway, glad to hear all is goin OK... keep gettin' better buddy!
Shiny Side Up!

Ya, the stuff they do in the hospitals really knows noi bounds of shame & embarrasment, but- to them it's nothing they haven't done, nor seen 100s of times before. It's hardest on us patients. _________________ Sandy passed away in 2012. He will be forever missed.

Extremely nice. But here (New Jersey) a typical U/C lot could not martket it. Would have to sell to a collector-type dealer. Probably vastly different in your market, however. Is biz good ?
Feeling a bit better and outta diapers, but tummy hurtzz all the time. Feel very weak, too weak to leave the house. Eating solid food in tiny morsels, and NOT liking the effects on my stomach. Prefer apple juice & water and Sierra Mist and fizzled-out R/C Cola.
My operating Dr wants me to come in for a check - but I am waaay too weak for the car trip of 8 miles of jiggling around in the Jeep. _________________ Sandy passed away in 2012. He will be forever missed.

Not bad but the 65 Sprints are where it's at. The 63s were still a good year, a lot of people liked the rounded look for making a street rod.
My dad is resurrecting a 65 Ranchero with 289 with the 3 speed on the tree. He's "ditching" the drive train for a warmed 302 (not roller but it will have a 4v intake and long tube headers. It's also going to have a 4 speed with a shift on the floor. He's going with Canary Yellow paint (vs the blech venetian yellow it was originally).
I loved driving around that little truck back in HS. If you think your asc cars get looks...whoo boy...that Ranchero got lots of attention. They are very rarely seen anymore.
By "ditching" I mean he's putting it in the pole barn so I can put the car back original one day. I'd probably never put the shift back on the column since it it truly sucks ass.
