I have this AM received from the editor of Hemmings Muscle Machines the finished article and have read it.

There were two slight corrections that I suggested, and I trust the gentleman will apply and I was surprised to learn that I know & have spoken to the man who supplyed the feature car, a New Jereseyan as well as I am ! I also supplied the author with add'l. info that had not been included, such as the MSRLP of the options, namely the Whistler Radar, the Recaro Seats and the Ford Supplied Automatic Transmission. This article covers the 1984-1986 Mercury Capri ascMcLarens, both Hatchback and SC 2-Seat Roadster.

February Issue. Buy it. If you write a nice short note to the editor of how great the article was...MAYBE we can do a follow up on the 'Stangs!
Don't mention ME, or this place, or the fact that you own one. That would void the letter's affect. Keep it short - under 50 words. Praise the car & how you had been looking for info on them, and thank the mag for spotlighting it.......... In that vein of thought.

Smells like 2, possibly 2 - 1/2 Not sure what typeset they use.

I memtioned that he should used my cars ! But, I think they might have been looking for a SC 1984-1986 and that's the one I don't own. (Or maybe not, and that was the one the guy owns who knows somebody at Hemmings)...... Ummmm.

Is this forum/site mentioned in there?

I'm just a little nervous come february that alot of people may swamp us.

Right now we rattle along at 1.27GB of bandwidth per month. We have a 6.0GB limit....which should be fine....

Yes, it's mentioned, and it says that coming here will get them a US Postal mailed coupon good for 20% off parts at any F-L-M dealership in America!

Mike, keep in mind the Feb. issue will hit stands and mailboxes first of the year. Maybe first or second week of Jan.

If you go to Hemmings web site....you can sign up for 1 free issue of Hemmings Muscle Machines....

You do NOT need to put in your credit card info when asked, just hit the "No thanks" button.

They will send you 1 issue and an invoice. If you want, write cancel on the invoice and return it and keep the 1 issue free.

I'm hoping I get the Feb issue Very Happy

I will probably get the Jan issue. Sad

I may just buy a subscription too....if I really like their stuff.

Cool. I just signed up as well. At $12 for 12 issues, it's hard to go wrong. I already subscribe to the regular Hemmings publication (as well as far too many other magazines), and have always been impressed with it.
