Welcome & glad to have you here.
I'm in Jersey, very near Seton Hall Uni.
Click below to view the last 3 brand new
ascMcLarens. The Silver Anniversary Edition has
7,387 miles, the Azura Blue has 3,077 miles
and the '86 Coupe hasd 688 miles. The 'Verts
are 1990s. The Azura Blue is/was THE final car
done, while the Silver Anniversary Edition is one
of two ACTUALLY made. 12 were proposed.
We are all here to help other owners maximize
their ownership enjoyment.
I went to Temple in Center City, and frequently visit
New Hope and that immediate area in the late Springtime. _________________ Sandy passed away in 2012. He will be forever missed.

I had taken a look at yours earlier, and left an email. I just looked at them again. They are really beautiful. We are right below Delaware Water Gap in PA. Have been to New Hope in the Spring too. Nice drive on a beautiful day.
I would not mind owning another if I could find one as sweet as yours. (or almost as nice) This one is very good, but not perfect. In fact, I found on this site a post by Shelbyscarab who saw the car I own at Kruse. I purchased it from the gentleman he spoke with there. Paid less than he was looking for. Shelbyscarab has three pictures of it posted if you would like to take a look. I would appreciate any advice.
Thanks,
Cindy and Jim |

The Azura Blue one, dash plaque # 688 ????
I spend ALOT of time in that region. A "special Female" went to Rider uni in Lawrenceville and we spend countless hours there, Bowman's Castle? Peddler's Village? Country back roads. Have you seen RIDER today? W-O-W ! If 688 ain't yours, post a pic.
Problem is...when the car is AAA perfect, concours, show ready, 'ya don't wanna use it, as #$%& can AND WILL happen !! M y wife wants to build me a a big PlexiGlass case that holds 3 cars, like a garage, but with NO doors - nor way out, for mine. "Permanent Display Artifacts" SHE CALLS IT. _________________ Sandy passed away in 2012. He will be forever missed.

#254 White, red, and black top, 688 looks great (wish I did own it).
Used to go to Peddler's quite bit. Nice county back roads. you are right.
I have only had the ASC 11 days now. Have not figured out how to post a picture to this site yet. Shellyscarb's first three are my car when you put a search in under him.
I have allready talked to Henry in Fl. I want a few things.
You are absolutely right about if it is 100%, all you do is look at it! I like to enjoy the ride too. My husband would like the idea of the plexiglass. haha
Now that I love my Mclaren, for me, it would be nice to have one to enjoy and one to put under the plexiglass......and just watch it.

Ha Ha Ha, Cindy !
THAT'S WHAT I SAID, when I found the Anniversary one ! It lived in New Hampshire, at the N.H. Auto Museum, on display. "Oh boy. I can save the Azura Blue one and actually drive the silver one. Then....it showed up !
W-O-W !! I can't drive THAT ! That is just too perfect! No Way {{O}}
My wife is NOT falling for that agin~
My absolute dream ascMclaren - none were ever built !
1990 in Coral Red (actually bright pink firemist paint,
with their Claret-Wine (burgundy) Cloth Roof and
the new-for-1990 "Opal Grey" interior. Opal Grey is the color
of cigarette smoke, 'ya, THAT light !
The other one I woulda died to own would also be a 1990 in my Anniversary Silver, with (the never made) matching Aresma Silver Cloth top and the White leather interior, that came with light pale grey carpeting, dash, sun visors & seat belts. _________________ Sandy passed away in 2012. Yes, you are so right. But since this one is not perfect, I can drive it. You had the pleasure of starting with 2, no three counting the Capri that are perfect.
Can't say I blame your wife......haha
I like both of your dream car combinations. Beautiful!
So my dream will just to find one that is close to perfect..let me know if you have any ideas when one of those might be.
As I said Jim has an 89 Gt Anniv. with 9,000 that is very nice. He is lucky he married a woman who likes cars. Now, I am driving him crazy with "what and how much should I do to mine?" He thinks his like would be better if I had a 100% Mclaren Hey, two would be fine with me.

Congratulations Cindy! Nice car! I did see it in person, and I must say it was VERY clean. Very good condition. I don't think it needs much. You'll have to post pictures in your "personal" album on here!
Oh yea, about your husband's '89 with low miles - nice, but YOU've got the nicer car, I'm pretty sure much more rare.
No Sandy, she's not talking about #688, thats me. _________________ 1988 ASC McLaren #688 |

Hi owner of #688 (Beautiful car) When Sandy thought it was mine, I had to go look at your picture of it right away.
Thank you for the Congratulations. I am glad you saw it and think it is in good condition. I plan to have some painting done. Maybe bumper stripped and redone and the hood. And a few other items I am going to order from Henry. I spoke with him and am working on my list.
I will post pictures once I have it done and I figure out how to do it on this site.
I love what you wrote about my husbands. He did too. I agree with you. Not sure he does----yet.
I had #254 inspected and emissions tested last week. All good. No rust, everything as it should be. I took it to a local cruise night Sat. and had so much fun because most people had no idea what it was. I do love it.
Thanks again,
Cindy |

Thank you for the welcome. I appreciate it.
If Chris is Sheblyscarab, he does have three pictures posted of my car in one of his postings. He saw it at the Kruse auto aution and took the shots.

That is it. Thanks.
I still have not figured out why it does not have the correct rear valence. Someone must have messed up the original, I imagine. I did not realize that it was not correct untill I read the post the other day. Should I change it to the correct one, if I can find it?
Thank you putting the pictures up.
