Cindy, I did your car.
Here's how it was built:-
Keweenau White Body
Scarlet Interior
Black Roof
Gold Wheels
Automatic Transmission
Sport Seats (Standard) No Recaros
No Radar Detector Option
She is the 387th 1988 ascMcLaren built, soooo,
Her dash plaque would coulda shoulda been # 866.
479 + 387 = 866.
It's 1 of 263 made in Keweenau White for 1988 and one of 27 with Scarlet Interior & a black roof.

Thanks, Sandy. I did go back and read what you sent to the other new owner.....that you could buy a plaque from Hank, send it to you and you send it out to have engraved. I will have to give that some thought. It is nice to know what number she really is. My car is exacly as you describe above, color, seats, no radar, etc. I am happy about that. Can you shed any light on the other differences Nick pointed out? I read your post to him regarding the doors.

I think I am eventually going to have to have the correct plaque. #866. Hey, I think I need to add that number to my registration. I just had to pick and register as 88-254......live and learn.
