I was looking at my stock 86 motor today and noticed it had a double roller timing chain. Did all 5.0's come with the double roller chains? Or may this be part of the mystery as to what cam came in these cars.
(b-303)

I don't think this engine had ever been opened up since new, so it just a thought.

Mike

Well it looks like all EFI H.O. 5.0's came with the double roller timing chain.

Pretty much on the 5.0 HO's, they had double roller chains, at least back in 82, every GT from 82 and up I ever opened, had one, no exceptions, not to say one never slipped out, without one. At least that has been my experience.
