Since I won't be driving it until after the winter rain passes by, my son and I started taking out the interior of my car. I took some pics along the way that I thought I'd share.

Links on the page's menu don't work since I am working on a new site design. Other than that, have a look... |

COOL!
FYI, alot of the pictures can't be clicked through. There is a 404 File Not Found error.
Don't lose that wintergreen air freshener!

What happened to page #3 ??
Terrific pictures. Got to "see" what I could never see before.
I do like the big door armrests, because I think it sets the car
apart from other Fox cars, and makes it more of a luxury car.
I've seen the "T" brace before, but never shots of the inner doors.
Make it great Marty ! _________________ Sandy passed away in 2012. He will be forever missed.

I think the pine tree was a factory option!
I fixed the pic links... Page 3 is not up yet. I should have it by this weekend.
For a guy my size, those arm rests crowd my leg a bit since they are much deeper that the stock Capri/Mustang ones. Of course I am also used to driving the wider SN95 Mustangs. But hey... they are in good shape, so they will go back in...
I also found it was odd that ASC would use a Caddy/Buick/Olds trunk pulldown for the top since everything else was Ford servicable. While I did find a working one from an 86 Seville, in doing some research I also found out that the same pull down was used in the 84-91 Lincoln Towncar. I have one from each and they look identical. When looking for these, there are two different types that look nearly identical. There is a 2/3 wire type and a 4 wire type. The 4 wire will not work and should be avoided. I will have pics of this shortly. Now the only thing that I need to get is that $75 J-hook from Hank and my top will work perfectly. |
