I do not want to make anyone sick. I have the Flu ! I am sneezing, ALOT, have a little fever, and feel crappy all over. Had it, now, for 2 1/2 days.
Cancer was not enough for me, so....I went & got the flu. Hell hath no mercy on me! How I got it ? I was at the hospital on Tuesday for my bi-monthly cancer infusion. ALOT of folks here, in this area have come down with the flu. Those who are allowed to come to the hospital, for free care...do come! So, I was exposed to them, in the waiting room. The Cancer Drugs, and their infusion(s) wear down one's normal ability to ward of catching colds, flu and sore throats. The drugs challenge your system's ability to fight off other stuff, lowering your resistance.
So....for now......it's back to sleep. Tomorrow is another day.... Sad Shocked Crying or Very sad and and and Puke

Sandy, didn't you get the flu last year? Even with the depressed immune system, I bet this bout should be better.

Now there's timing for you! Crying or Very sad Keep yourself well hydrated and do your best to relax. Maybe watch a good movie like American Graffiti or Mischief, two of my favorites for when i am sick. Hope you feel better soon!

Shiny Side Up!

Thanks, guys -- 2-day I feel better. I actually ate a little breakfast & slept thru the night. Just alot ot spitting phelm up and a cough and feeling cold - Really cold. I moved my Dr appt. up a day, to this coming Friday. By then I'll be okay. I will tell him what I had & see if he think I should or should not get the flu shot.

Meanwhile, back at the rear-end ranch... my Chemo Dr. tells me to make an appointment with my surgeon that did my surgery, removing the source of cancer from my body, for a check-up in office and to make a new appt. for a 1-year later colonoscopy Evil or Very Mad Freakin' hate it ! I'll bet the farm that if I say nothing, my internist will schedule my colonoscopy for December 13 !
(My B'Day!) Just how things have been going 4 me. Crying or Very sad

Naw, Peter. Caddies motors are good....real good. The 1981 V8-6-4 was indeed super crap. The 4.5 litre of 87 & 88 was so-so (granted) better than the very problematical V-8-6-4, but not by alot. HOWEVER the 4.9 Litre of 1989-1995 has proved to be one great engine.

every caddy motor i work on is a pain. they squeez so much crap in such a small hole. and they all leak so much oil. you have to remove 10 things just to change the air filter or 35 bolts to change a taillight.

This is true. But, PERSONALLY, I have never had a problem with the 2 Caddies I owned, a 1988 SDV and my current 1993 Sixty Spcl.

Then again, I know better than to work (ATTEMPT TO work) on my own cars!

Sandy, you trying to argue engine quality based on your own experience is really funny. Very Happy You don't drive your cars enough to have any problems! They're still factory new by the time you trade them in!

If I gave you a Yugo, you'd probably put 5k miles on it in 10 years and call it the best engineered car ever made! Very Happy

Funny !!!

Yes, the 1988 SDV I drove ALOT ! About 10,000 @ year. A world record for me. Had her - 37,000 miles in 4 & 1/2 years. I had no troubles with her.
My Mom had a new 1972 CDV for a few years. She never had trouble with it.
But disliked the dealership's service Dept. It gave way to a 1975 Imperial 2-Dr Hardtop, that Sandy was wild about and found any excuse to drive it.
