Linear notes are the typical bullcrap.
Starting Price way to high, for the product offered.
Statring Price is what the ending price should be. {maybe}
Did you notice the loosely fit covers on the front seats?
Wonder WHAT surprise lays beneath _________________ Sandy passed away in 2012. He will be forever missed.

This is off-topic, but looking at the photos of that 1988 reminded me of my least favorite feature on the 1987-1993 Mustangs: the dash. I thought that it was ugly as sin when they were new, and I still think so today.
On the passenger side in particular, what was Ford thinking? What was the point of the little shelf? Nothing can actually sit on it without flying every time the car moves.
I bought a 1991 GT new and had it for five years. Loved the car, hated the dash.
Anyway, I am surprised that for the ascMcLaren, the powers-that-be did not dress up the dash a little bit. I am sure that the cost would have been prohibitive, but it's always nice to dream. _________________ Robert

LOL... I love this:
Quote: | The vehicle has been professionaly rebuilt over the last few month |
In doing so, they just covered up the ragged seats with 'one size never fits all' seat covers purchased at Pep Boys or Autozone...
I agree with the comments about the later Mustang dash. After owning a 79 Ghia, 84 SVO, 84 Coupe, and now my 85 McLaren I can't get used to the dash 'upgrade' Ford gave to the Stang in 87. For some reason, the later dash makes me feel closer to the windshield, just like a 60's Econoline van. |
