I know there was a discussion a loooong time ago about how these things were nonexistant....

It looks like somebody is making them....although....I have my reservations on how good they are.

Actually, they are NOT the same! The originals (from Ford) had the "side" panels of the slats the same width apart as the larger center section, and these have them double (or triple) width. The originals weren't very popular. I think over the years I have seen 4 or 5 cars with them.

One of my Anniversary cars had Ford louvers on it when I bought it. They aooeared to be original. I took them off because I had no key to raise them to clean the window. They were nothing like these. The slats were one piece all the way across.
I believe that Sandy is right.

The ones that I saw, at the dealer, in 1980, on a showroom car did in fact lift up and even had a "prop" rod to hold them UP while cleaning the rear bubble glass. I assumed they were FoMoCo ~ but I never asked.....
