Got it off.... had to take the stem and the dohicky it sits in. Then whack the other end to disengage the little lip on the stem. _________________ 1986 White vert McLaren# 196 |

It pulls straight out.
Often the plastic part which cracks pulls off the metal stem.
Just take channel locks or pliers and grab the stem and pull STRAIGHT out.

Yea, Mine didn't want to come out at first and I was afraid of breaking the stem. I tapped it on the ground and it came out. _________________ 1986 White vert McLaren# 196 |
