This would be an interesting one to get the v.i.n. / buck tag / door tag info on...

Whatever prototype history it may have had has pretty much been erased. Nice looking car though, whatever it is/was. _________________ Tom S.

That car was for sale about 7 or 8 years ago. The interior was'nt as nice and it had a 302 in it.....and they were asking 10K for it.

Yeah. It's legitimacy is definitely in question.
As far as I know, no one has ever gotten any info about "ptototypes" from asc so I don't know how this guy knows there were "4" made.
Being a vert in the configuration it is in, I'd have to acknowledge that it came from asc unless a massive reconstruction was done to the car but I'd have to look over the sheet metal to see what actual year it is.

What about from one of the numerous coach builders of the day? (AHA, AI, Barrow, etc.) Could it not have been one of those companies' conversions? |

Rear quarter area doesn't look right for those. At least with the asc style top on it, it looks exactly like an asc back there to me.

Nice.
Sweet looking ride.
I don't recall ever hearing about 5 '82 ASCs though.
Are these really legit? _________________ 1988 ASC McLaren #688 |
