Many of you are familiar with this car, it's eric50h's old car.
1986 ASC McLaren Eurocoupe. It's been disassembled for a full resto, with no progress made passed that point. T-tops, air, cruise, tilt, power windows and locks, remote hatch release, remote fuel filler door release. Grey eurocoupe with an auto make it a documented one of nine car, add all the options and t-tops, it's prolly one of one. All the sheet metal is there and no rust. Comes with NOS head and tail light covers and fog lights. No seats, carpet, dash pad, weather stripping, motor, trans, side skirts. two sets of door glass.
$3500 OBO
Not interested in talking to lowballers or tire kickers. Serious parties feel free to contact me. This is a chance to own an extremely rare car and build it to your likings, plus no chance of upsetting the purists by molesting a virgin car. Located in Milwaukee, WI.
I have a t5, clutch, flywheel and bell-housing, as well as a stock roller short block from a 90 Mustang, Edelbrock heads, Trick Flow intake manifold, whole car MAF wiring harness, 9AP ecu. Some or all of these parts can be included for additional money
From the ad when I bought the car:
Quote: | I've decided that I no longer have any interest in finishing this car. I have 2 young sons, and way too much on my plate to do anything with this. The car is a 1986 Mercury Capri ASC McLaren Eurocoupe. 1 of 47. 1 of 11 gray, then add the fact that this is a T-top, with tilt, cruise, aod, power windows, locks, hatch release, fuel door release, etc. Rare indeed.
The bad:
The car was completely disassembled and ready for a rotisserie. It is in this state now.
There is no drivetrain, fuel tank, seats, carpet, windshield, steering column, radiator, fan, shroud, or condensor. I do not have the side skirts. As far as rust, slight bubbling on the rear 1/4 wheel arch. VERY minor. Rust starting on bottoms of doors. Minor as well. No weatherstripping.
The good:
I have the hard to get McLaren parts, most new.
Front air dam, all 3 pieces, NEW
head and taillight covers, NEW
rear valance, NEW
Hella fogs, NEW
mint bubble hatch
Ford Racing subframe connectors welded in
rear wing, used
original wheels, used, need refinishing

I need to win the lottery so I can purchase all these cars and restore them. It looks like a super nice platform for someone to finish up.

I would have no problem delivering the car if the buyer was willing to pay. _________________ 1993 Mustang LX notchback: 2.3l
