Hi all - got back from Charlotte late last night. Took my yellow Stang. The show was great but the weather wasn't cooporating very well. Rather cool. And with rain last night and all day today, I left a little early to get home for the holiday.

One of my friends told me they saw a blue ascMclaren Mustang but I was not able to locate it. It's tough with 3K-4K cars there.

The high point of my trip is I got to do a ride along session on the track with a friend of mine. It was a combo of the oval and the road course. We hit 130 MPH on the back straight. Way cool !!!! What a ride !!!

The ride along sounds like it would have been a blast. To bad about the weather. I bet it was a good time anyways. Glad you had a safe trip.

Have a Happy Easter everyone!

Went down Saturday, decided not to take mine because of the weather. Didn't see any Mclarens. Maybe have better luck at Mustang Week.

I did see (and talk to the owner) an 88. silver with black top. seats were tore up, but over not too bad looking car. it was the only asc I seen.
buts that's ok, as I seen an original 800 mile Mustang Handler (1 of 7), a 1970 twister, a clean as new 80/81 cobra & tons of other nice stuff!
come to think of it, there wasn't a model I DIDNT see! great show. I left sat evening. Saturday sucked due to the rain. only a very small amount of cars showed up, so it was a day of hitting the tents & buildings. lucky I was walking & checking out cars all day Thursday & Friday. cool event indeed!

Sorry to hear the weather was bad. It was nice, but a little warm in Vegas. Only got to be at the event on Saturday. I heard there was a white McLaren with a lady driving but I never saw it. We didn't walk around the Mustangs too much, spent time in and on the track. Got my '89 up to 110mph with a passenger in the "back seat" filming on the oval. Weirdest part was the transition from bank to flat pit lane coming back in. Glad we put the new BBK rear control arms and bushings in last week. With 197K miles, I would have never gone that fast. My friends '06 Roush blew by me doing 120.

The white 88 at Vegas was my wife's car. 20k original mile car which always gets a Gold in the Unrestored Class. She had it up to 115 on the track. We were following my buddies SVO.

There was another white one, 89 I believe but I never saw anyone by it and I believe it was only there on Saturday.

I got a phone number given to me about another one for sale.

The other white '89 was ours. We got into town Thursday afternoon, busy at Counts Kustoms on Friday, so we were only there Saturday. We did about 110 on the second trip around the track. We really didn't have time to look around the parking lot. Did you see the picture of your car on Facebook? It's a distant shot though. I thought it was my car, but I saw your top was up. Mine was down with a passenger in the "back" seat.
