You are correct ! I never got to the last pictures, as the phone was ringing!
Very obviously a white car, originally.

Did you see the Red one - Mike posted last night? THAT is a "Sandy Car"!

You would like my 3. All are as "Day-1" ~ showroom condition.

I think we all know the weak points:
* Thin perforated leather, creases & then rips
* "A" Pillar Applique cracks in the corners
* Finger Cups in interior armrests crack/break
* Roof fails to release from Tonneau Cover
* Convertible fabric gets holes at base of "C" Pillar
* Ash Tray Cover Spring Breaks
* Dash Plaque Falls Off, goes under Passenger Seat
* Apparnetly, at some point, the tailight covers fall off, (seen so many missing)

Any Others ?

The front bow applique on the convertibles isn't exactly top-notch either.

It may just be my car - although I suspect not - but the top squeeks like CRAZY sometimes at the front bow. It seems to depend on the temperature - or maybe just her mood, though.

It also seems like the switch bezels and door handle inserts are made out of the same cheap plastic. Mine aren't bad, but they show considerably more wear than you'd expect in comparison to the condition of the car.

Yes, you hit on a couple of definates, that I overlooked:

* The plastic piece behind the sunvisors, that the rotating roof release
handles fit into, is extremely brittle. (Never ever allow a {helpful} friend
to attempt to pull the roof down into posistion from INSIDE the car !

* Top squeeks, rattles and/or leaks. (My personal experience is that the squeekers and rattlers DO NOT leak, and those that leak, do not squeek or rattle. My blue one is a squeeker, while my silver one is a rattler. Neither leak.

* Note: If putting down the top, always allow her to sit in the direct sunlight for at least 20 minutes to soften the rear window, so that it doesn't rip, when folding down. The stitching is now 16 years old or more.
