Where can I find a bolt-in roll bar for a fox body convertible McClaren ?? _________________ 1988 build #908 Ruby Red w/red interior. One of only 25 built in this color combination |

Contact Hank at ascmclaren.com...
...but I don't think you'll find one. You'll need to have one fabricated. Adding it will probably may require cutting interior pieces that could never be replaced easily if you decide to take it out.
The tops are different and the windshield is bent back on these cars so a normal fox Mustang roll bar probably isn't going to fit unless you never put the top up.

Along the lines with what Mike said. There is no room between the seat and the rear interior panel. Putting it thru the tonneau cover would be a bear and it still needs to clear the top mechanism. That pretty much leaves just the rear storage boxes. I don't think you will find any stock fitting units mounting that far inboard. Likely due to nothing there to support it except floor sheet metal. _________________ Kevin Gold card MCA Judge for Fox Body

I am pretty sure these cars don't tend to flip over either. With weight removed from the top and extra weight put underneath the car for support, I tend to believe the car must have a very low center of gravity.
I wouldn't worry about it unless you plan on racing the old girl.
