THANKS, MIKE. I have been pretty sick
and on medication that is too strong for
me, and I probably would not have added
that car, as I am sleeping alot and kinda
"out of it" ~

My internet is still down so im posting from frends houses, will get ya pictures soon but will be @ 4eyedpride capri section because I cannot get on here from home.
As for the car it's on the trailer and headed home 97thousand orginal miles , paint rough all stickers and special parts still on car and Int show room clean. She bought it from the Dealer with 900 miles

The really funny part I have lived within 5miles of these car most of its life and never really saw it. Also have heard of rumors of a GP capri for sale for the last 4 or 5 years and it's the same car. I think it was fate Cool

It's stopped raining so I'm going to get home before the next rai8n shower

Mark you need to get your machine uninfected. From what you said before, you have some nasty hijacking malware stuff on it.

Are the same pictures on the CD you are sending? It would be nice for the pictures to get on this site..I don't have the size limitations that you will find at FEP. FEP only allows small images.

Mark,

Congratulations on the find Exclamation
This is very cool that another GP4 car has been found. Good Job

I had heard of a woman here in Michigan that had a GP4 that she had either repainted and re-stickered, or had just re-stickered. The story is that she wanted to make sure it was done correctly and that she went to great lengths to make sure it was correct, this was about 8-10 years ago. Any chance that this is the car? Did she ever mention if the stickers are still the original ones?

NOT the same person. This lady bought the car NEW from the dealership already stickered, it's what caught her eye. The Dealership owner had taking a liking to the car but It was getting close too thousand miles so time for it to go. The only paint work was touch up. Everything very orignal and the Interior is almost Factory fresh! I have plans to call the dealership and to try to track down the salesperson.

mark,
you have your car listed as the 3rd of 3 silver capri in your profile.
it may have been the 3rd found & the higher vin of the 3, but it doesnt mean it was the 3rd silver one built.
i am suprised sandy hasnt jumped in & pointed this out.
the fact is we dont know which order they were converted.
we do know which was first to be converted (prototype), after that
the 3 or 4 track cars were converted (order unkown),
then the remainder (all replicas) were converted in no particular order.

Two out of three are correct that we know. The odds are in my favor, but if I'm jumping the gun or something I will change. Embarassed

Just thought it sounded good. And was very tired at the time, 1:00am or some thing like that.

1 of 3 would probably be the correct term.
that would actualy make a great personal plate "1 OF 3"

Yeah, chances are the lowest vin was the first one loaded on the trailer from FOMOCO and the highest vin was the first to be pulled into asc for conversion.

Not to mention they probably jumbled the things around as they went through various stages of assembly. There really won't be any way to know.

So what's the current count of GP4s now? 18 or 19?
