We don't have a list of 85 coupe vins from ascMcLaren. The vin list was destroyed by an ASC employee in the 80s. _________________ ~Peter

Of the list I have of about ~90, you are entry 35.
So probably middle of the pack if we had all the vins.

The cars were not built in vin order. So if you have the 50th car on the vin list doesn't mean your car was the 50th car built. _________________ ~Peter

|
|
I know many have been collected, but don't know where.
I was talking with a member of my Shelby club about my Coupe and he mentioned Edsel Ford II ordered one, but did not like it. It was sold with low miles on the Ford B-Lot, probably in 1986.
My connections say they can run the VINs and see which was delivered to Ford's "dealer" code for WHQ delivery, like any exec cars.
Wonder if the car is still around. |

I had known about a lady here in Michigan that had a GP4 that she had either repainted and re-stickered, or had simply re-stickered. The story is that she needed to ensure it was done effectively and that she put it all on the line to ensure it was right, this was about a decade back. |
