I thought I saw a list of parts of the McLaren that came from other cars in fords line up. I've seached with the term "interchangeable" and didn't see anything. Does anyone have a list or know of a list/link that i can see. I need the interior door lights for my car and all door seals and trunk/tonnue seals. Any help would be great.

I don't know of such a list. You may already know this but I think Hank has most of the parts you are looking for on these two links:

Yeah.. I know about Hank. His prices are too high for my shallow pockets. I emailed him, he wants $650.00 for each 30 year old seat cover. I met a seamstress from Lear seating who's going to finish my seats in leather/suede seating surface for $600.00 for the pair.. Labor included.
So I'm trying to locate all of the parts that I don't have to purchase from him

We should start a sticky note for the common parts. Then add to it as we go. It's not going to get any easier later. We should probably include the Ford assembly parts list too. Even if we don't know where the part came from, posting it will allow anyone to fill it in later. I 'lll try to get it started later today.

Mike N. has been doing it. But its for 85/86 ASC so I'm not sure how much it will help you folks with the 87 and up cars. But it may help for a template.
