I'm trying, unsuccessfully, to find tan carpet for my ASC McLaren. Would 1986 Capri carpet work if I cut out the carpet where the tunnel is? How about tan 1986 mustang convertible carpet? Any thinking out of the box people out there? Thanks, for any and all suggestions.

Tan carpet from a Mustang or Capri would be correct. Use hatchback carpet. I believe others have posted good results using Trim Parts. Just do a search.[/quote]

For a Capri, use the hatchback carpet for sure because it came to ASC as a HB and of course, ASC never changed out the carpets during the conversion.

Several vendors, but I've been told ACC makes the best. I just bought a mass-back kit for my '66 FB from Dallas Mustang because they were running a Christmas sale, offer free shipping, and no sales tax. Came to about $60 less than anyone else offered for the same ACC unit.

This time of year, watch for specials. Not at NPD because they've never heard of the concept, but other vendors... Wink
