Every part of the car is bad. I would not know where to start, other than to send Hank a check for $7,000 line of credit and when you are all done, and it's all finished, what do you have? A rolling bank account ! (and) a Remo Dog _________________ Sandy passed away in 2012. He will be forever missed.

Jeeeze I didn't really think it was THAT bad...all the groud effects are there...just lose the PVC rollbar and fix up the interior and a paint job...

Frank,
Do you have any of the interior parts left from your 85?

In a lot of ways it is better than mine. While there are a lot of negatives, the car does have a lot of positives. With the bad top though, my concern would be rust in the floors and top area. |

Well, I hope you have great success with it.
Take her easy and see what you can clean up and refurbish vs what you need to purchase new. Parts are available but they add up FAST!
Keep us posted!

thanks guys. I have owned several Fox bodies over the years. My first was an 80 4cyl Capri, then an 82 RS with 5.0. I had it for 8 years. I now have a very modified 82 GT Mustang and a 95 Cobra, throw in a few others, 65 289/4 spd coupe, 66 Shelby, and 68 1/2 428 CJ Mustang and well, Mustangs are my thing. A Capri is just a little different and I've always liked them...so now throw in a custom convertible into the Capri mix and seems like I now have all bases covered ) Actually this is car number 15..so I have plenty, actually too many but its an addiction ) I own a restoration business, so fixing up the McLaren is no problem; can't wait to get her in good shape. _________________ Pete's Ponies
