I was reviewing the top installation instructions in the service manual on Hank's site and have a question. It says to use "nitrile cement" or "neoprene weatherstrip adhesive." What are each of these and should they be readily available at the local auto parts chain store?
Thanks, Keith _________________ 1986 ASC vert - #86-0001

Buy the yellow super weatherstrip adhesive. I've used it twice and it has worked great. Bought it at Autozone for $7.99. I use 1-1/2 tubes on an installation.
Set it up and let it dry till it is tacky. Press the parts together and they are not coming apart without some effort. If you screw it up it's still fixable, though. _________________ 1988 ASC McLaren #709 |
